If the collection is a List, I want to iterate through each object in a collection and then update a property on each object.How do the following using LINQ?

We can make use of ForEach extension method which is available as part of LINQ.
collection.ToList().ForEach(o => o.PropertyToSet = value);
The ToList is needed in order to evaluate the select immediately due to lazy evaluation
